Setting your daily price
Start from what comparable cars in your city charge, adjust for age, transmission and mileage limit, then revisit it after your first few trips.
The daily price is the number a guest compares first. It is also the easiest thing to change, so treat your opening figure as a starting point rather than a decision.
Find the range
Search the marketplace for your city, filter to cars of a similar size and age, and note the spread. That range is your market. Where you sit inside it depends on:
- Age and mileage — a three-year-old car sits above a ten-year-old one.
- Transmission — automatics rent more easily in cities.
- Extras that matter — a roof box, winter tyres, a child seat, a dashcam.
Changing it
Open the vehicle in Fleet, edit the daily price and save. It applies to new bookings from that moment; trips already accepted keep the price they were booked at.
When to move it
- Empty calendar for two weeks with plenty of views: the price is high for the market.
- Booked out every weekend and turning people away: room to raise it.
- A local event or holiday week: raise it in advance, not on the day.
Cutting the price is not the first thing to try. Add photos, widen your availability and reply faster — those move bookings more often than a few euros a day.
