Verifying your identity

Identity verification is a one-off check: a photo of your ID document and a selfie. It has to be complete before your first payout can be released.

Everyone who earns money on Juuh is identity-checked. It is a legal requirement for payments, not a platform preference, and it is handled by our verification partner rather than by us reading your documents by hand.

What you will need

• A passport, national ID card or driving licence, in date.
• A phone or laptop camera.
• Two minutes.

How it goes

1. Open Profile → Documents and start the check.
2. Photograph the document, front and back.
3. Take the selfie the screen asks for. It is compared against the photo on the document.
4. Wait — most checks come back in a few minutes.

If it fails

The usual causes are glare on the document, a cropped edge, or an expired ID. You can retry straight away. If it fails twice, contact support rather than trying repeatedly; the checks are rate-limited.

Your listing can go live before verification is complete, but the money cannot move until it is. Do it early rather than discovering it on the day of your first payout.
