Who can rent my car?
Only guests whose identity and driving licence Juuh has verified. You can also review each request before accepting it, and only the person who booked may drive.
Nobody books a car on Juuh anonymously. Before a request can even reach you, the guest has been through the same checks you were.
Every guest is checked
- Identity, against a government document.
- A valid driving licence.
- A payment method in their own name.
What you can see and decide
A request shows you the guest's profile, how long they have been on Juuh and their reviews from other hosts. If you would rather not accept, decline — you do not have to give a reason, and declining a request carries none of the consequences of cancelling an accepted one.
Only the booking guest drives
The person who booked is the person named on the rental contract, and they are the only one insured to drive. Handing the keys to a friend, a partner or a colleague of theirs voids the cover for that trip. If a guest asks whether someone else can drive, the answer is that they should book it themselves.
At handover
Check that the licence in front of you is the person in the booking. It takes ten seconds and it is the one check nothing else can replace.
Set a minimum trip length or a minimum licence age if you would rather not take very short or very new-driver rentals. Filtering up front beats declining requests one at a time.
