Cookie Policy
Version 2.0.0 · in force from 2026-09-06
1. Who and what
Controller: Denys Romanov, sole trader, Spanish NIF/NIE Y9622163N, Juuh, https://juuh.com; Calle Alqueria 1, 29680 Estepona, Málaga, Spain; legal@juuh.com.
We use cookies and similar technologies, including the browser's local and session storage, tags and SDKs. They may store information on your device or access information already there. This policy also covers technologies that are not called "cookies".
Strictly necessary technologies enable functions you ask for, such as signing in, protecting a payment and remembering your privacy choice. They activate only to the extent needed for that function. Optional preferences, analytics and advertising require your prior choice. Browsing, scrolling or closing the notice does not mean acceptance. Non-essential options are switched off to begin with.
2. Technologies in use
| Technology | Type and domain | Purpose and category | Actual duration | |---|---|---|---| | juuh_refresh | Cookie, HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=None, limited to the /api/v1/auth path on api.juuh.com | Securely renews the session you started. The browser sends it only to the authentication endpoints and JavaScript cannot read it. Necessary | 30 days | | juuh_session, juuh_context | Cookies, SameSite=Lax, Secure, on juuh.com | Written only after you sign in. They remember that this browser has had an account and whether you are acting as a Renter or a Host, so the right context is restored. Their values are 1 and client/host: they contain no identifier of you. Necessary | 12 months | | juuh_access_token | Session storage (sessionStorage) | Holds the short-lived access token used to request your data in the open tab. Necessary | While the tab is open; the token expires after 15 minutes | | juuh_cookie_consent_v1 | Local storage (localStorage) | Remembers your cookie decision, its date and the categories you accepted or rejected. Necessary | 12 months, after which we ask again | | JUUH_LOCALE (and the legacy key NEXT_LOCALE) | Local storage | The language you expressly selected. Necessary for that preference | Until you change it or clear site data | | juuh_checkout_pending_booking | Session storage | Lets you resume the booking you started in this tab if you close it, fail a bank authentication step or return from a redirect. Necessary | While the tab is open | | state, nonce, returnTo for signing in with Google or Apple | Session storage | Protect the sign-in you requested against forgery and return you to the page you came from. Necessary | Until sign-in completes | | Stripe technologies in the payment form | Cookies and storage set by js.stripe.com and m.stripe.network — Stripe Payments Europe, Limited | Payment processing and fraud prevention inside the form you open to pay. Necessary for the payment you requested. Their names and durations are set by Stripe and described in Stripe's own cookie policy | Set by Stripe | | juuh-referral-code | Local storage | Stores the invitation code you arrived with so it can be credited if you register. Optional preferences: written only if you accept that category; without it the code lives only in memory for the visit | Until registration completes or you clear site data | | Content delivery and protection (Cloudflare, Inc.) | Reverse proxy in front of juuh.com | Serves the site and protects it against attacks. In the current configuration it sets no cookie. If features that need one are enabled, they will be added to this table before they are used | — | | Analytics and advertising | — | No analytics or advertising technology is currently active on the site. The categories exist in the panel so your decision is recorded; if a provider is enabled, it will be named here with its domain and duration before it runs, and it will work only with your consent | — |
3. Your choice
You may accept all, reject the non-essential ones or choose by category. "Cookie settings", permanently available on the site and under Settings → Privacy and consents, lets you change or withdraw your choice as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal stops the relevant optional technologies and deletes the values under our control where technically possible. You can delete third-party values through your browser; that complements, rather than replaces, Juuh's withdrawal mechanism.
Rejecting does not prevent you using the core features. Blocking all technologies in your browser may affect necessary functions such as signing in or paying. We remember your decision for 12 months and ask again after that, or sooner if the purposes or providers change materially. Each technology keeps its own duration, separate from the duration of your consent.
Identifiable data associated with these technologies is processed under the Privacy Policy, including recipients, international transfers and your rights. Events linked to an account are not described as anonymous. Processing carried out strictly on the server is assessed by its purpose and legal ground: cookieless measurement is not thereby free of privacy obligations.
4. The notice and the panel
At its first layer the notice reads:
"We use necessary technologies to sign you in, protect transactions and remember your privacy preferences. With your permission, we use analytics to measure use and performance, and advertising to measure campaigns and create audiences. You can accept, reject non-essential technologies or choose by category. Change your choice at any time through 'Cookie settings'."
The buttons Accept all, Reject non-essential and Customise are shown at the same time and with equivalent prominence.
The preference panel contains:
- Necessary — always active: only the technologies indispensable to the functions you request.
- Optional preferences — off: remembering choices on this device that are not indispensable, such as the invitation code you arrived with.
- Analytics — off: measurement of use and performance with the providers named in the table above.
- Advertising — off: attribution, campaign measurement and audience creation with the providers named in the table above.
We store your decision with its date, the version of this policy, the categories chosen and the language the notice was shown in, so that we can evidence how it was obtained.
