Juuh Terms and Conditions

1. Parties and documents
These terms govern the Juuh services supplied by Denys Romanov, sole trader, Spanish NIF/NIE Y9622163N, Calle Alqueria 1, 29680 Estepona, Málaga, Spain; https://juuh.com; legal@juuh.com; support at support@juuh.com and https://juuh.com/help. "Host" means the person offering a car; "Renter" the person renting it; "User" anyone using Juuh.
Each booking incorporates its summary, the individual rental agreement, the payment and cancellation terms, the Host's own terms where relevant and the insurance and telematics annexes actually offered. All of them must be available before you accept. Mandatory law takes priority, followed by validly agreed specific terms on the issue in question and then these general terms. Links to future versions do not change rights. The Privacy Policy is information about processing, not a general consent.
2. Each party's role
The Host is the lessor and is responsible for their authority to rent, the accuracy of the listing, the car, maintenance, documents, insurance and handover. The Renter is responsible for payment and for using the car in accordance with the agreement. Juuh provides intermediation, tools and operational and collection management under its mandate, and remains responsible for its own duties, actions and commitments. Juuh does not supply driving or passenger transport and is not an insurer.
Before you book, the Host is identified along with whether they declare that they act as a business or as a private individual. If the Host is a private individual, the consumer rules specific to trader-to-consumer contracts do not apply to that rental agreement. This does not reduce your consumer rights against Juuh for its own services. The Host's actual status overrides an incorrect label.
3. Account and eligibility
Users must have capacity to contract and must give accurate information. For cars the operating minimum is 21 years of age and one year holding a licence valid to drive the vehicle in Spain; other categories may have a different minimum, which is shown on the listing. The listing and the insurance may impose stricter requirements, always disclosed before contracting. Approval of an account does not guarantee eligibility for every car.
Accounts must not be shared and only verified people named in the agreement may drive. Identity, licence and payment checks must be completed within the deadline shown in the booking. Without them the car is not handed over. Cancellation consequences are those in the payment terms: a verification that is not completed does not cause automatic loss of what you paid.
4. Booking formation
You select a car, dates, drivers and extras; review the supplier, price, deposit, coverage, territory, rules and cancellation; correct any input errors and accept through an unambiguous action carrying an obligation to pay. In request mode, the Host's approval is awaited within the displayed deadline. A request or a bank authorisation alone is not a confirmed booking.
Juuh sends the confirmation once the disclosed acceptance, payment and verification conditions are met. The status and any outstanding conditions must be clear at all times. The specific agreement is provided for acceptance before you collect the car; it cannot introduce new essential burdens after payment without agreement and without a cost-free cancellation route if you reject them. A downloadable copy of what you accepted and its annexes is sent to you. Later corrections are recorded and, where they change obligations, require the affected parties' acceptance.
5. Price, cancellation and withdrawal
The mandatory total, the applicable taxes and the extras you select are displayed before payment. The deposit is shown separately. The commission the Host pays Juuh does not become a hidden Renter surcharge. The schedule and refund conditions of the accepted version of the payment and cancellation terms apply.
For dated car rentals falling within Article 103(l) TRLGDCU there is no statutory 14-day withdrawal right. Contractual cancellation and remedies for breach remain available. That exception does not automatically extend to a separate Juuh service: where a withdrawal right exists, information, a form and an electronic channel are provided, and a request for early performance is collected separately. You are never asked to waive non-waivable rights.
6. Car, use and return
The Host supplies a safe, legally roadworthy car matching the listing, with documents, keys and coverage for the transaction. The Renter checks its condition, records discrepancies and does not drive an unsafe car. Both parties complete the handover and return records with photographs, mileage and fuel or charge level.
Approved drivers, dates, territory, mileage and permitted uses must be respected. Unlawful impaired driving, criminal use, racing, unauthorised subletting, interference with the odometer or with safety devices and unauthorised commercial passenger transport are prohibited. These prohibitions do not themselves create a fixed debt or an insurance exclusion that is absent from the policy.
An extension requires the Host's confirmation, a price, a coverage check and an updated agreement before the booking ends. In case of delay, breakdown or an accident, contact Juuh and the assistance provider identified in the booking; in an emergency, call 112. Do not abandon or repair the car without permission, except for reasonable measures essential to prevent damage or danger.
7. Insurance, deposit and liability
Juuh neither sells nor distributes insurance. The coverage that applies is only the coverage identified and supplied with the booking, contracted by the Host with their insurer. Compulsory motor liability insurance does not mean own-damage or theft cover. "All included" or "no excess" is promised only where the actual product provides it.
The deposit is security, not a general liability cap and not an automatic penalty. Any additional charge requires a basis, a calculation and evidence under the payment terms. Normal wear, pre-existing damage and double recovery are excluded. Juuh does not determine a dispute with the force of a court judgment and does not prevent access to authorities, insurers, banks or courts.
Each party is responsible for the breaches and harm legally attributable to it. These terms do not exclude liability for wilful misconduct, liability for personal injury where excluding it is unlawful, mandatory duties or Juuh's liability for its own acts. External causes are assessed under the law and by their actual effects; they do not automatically justify retaining payment for services that were not provided.
8. Listings, ranking and reviews
Ranking. Search first applies the filters you choose — availability on your dates, area and radius, category, price and features — and then orders the results. The default order is by listing age, showing the most recently published first. You can change it to price ascending, price descending or distance from your search point. Rating, booking volume, commission paid and any commercial relationship with the Host play no part in it.
Paid placement. There is none. Juuh does not sell positions, highlights or priority in results, and offers no vehicles of its own or of affiliated companies. If that changes, a paid position will be clearly identified in the result and described here before it is applied.
Personalised pricing. The price is calculated from the Host's price for those dates, their length-of-stay discounts and the applicable taxes. It is not personalised by automated decisions based on a profile of you; if that changes, you will be told before contracting.
Reviews. Only someone who was party to a booking that reached its end on Juuh can review, and only about that booking: reviews from people who have not rented are not accepted. The Renter's and the Host's reviews stay hidden until both exist or until 14 days have passed since the trip closed, so that neither can answer the other. No benefit is offered for positive reviews and no criticism is removed for being negative. Juuh may moderate unlawful, false or harassing content or content that discloses other people's data, under the complaints procedure.
You keep your content and grant Juuh a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce and display it in order to operate and promote the listing while it is published; independent promotional use beyond that purpose requires your permission. The licence ends when the content is removed, except for limited copies needed for security, legal duties or claims, and rights already validly acquired.
9. Suspension, changes and termination
An account may be closed at your request without extinguishing outstanding bookings or obligations. Juuh may restrict functions for fraud, material breach, substantiated risks, illegality or missing eligibility. Any measure will be proportionate and its reason, scope and review route will be communicated, unless a specific legal restriction applies. Action limited to the affected listing is preferred where that is enough to address the risk. Business Hosts also have the safeguards in the Host agreement.
Material changes are notified on a durable medium at least 15 days in advance, respecting mandatory periods and any longer period needed for a technical or commercial adaptation. They do not retrospectively alter confirmed bookings. Where new obligations require acceptance, acceptance is requested. You may terminate before the changes apply; outstanding bookings keep their terms unless validly agreed otherwise or legally necessary.
10. Communications and disputes
Contractual communications are sent to your verified contact details and remain available on a durable medium. Service communications are not an advertising authorisation. Complaints: legal@juuh.com and the complaints procedure. Spanish law applies without depriving a consumer of the mandatory rules of their habitual residence where those apply. The legally competent courts have jurisdiction; consumers are not required to use the courts of Estepona exclusively or to accept mandatory arbitration.
