What is and is not covered

Juuh does not provide insurance of its own; the car is insured by its owner, as the law requires, and that policy is the one that stands behind your trip.

This article is deliberately blunt, because assuming cover you do not have is the expensive kind of mistake.

Juuh does not insure the car

Juuh is the platform the booking is made on. It does not issue a policy, and it adds no cover of its own on top of the vehicle's.

The owner's policy is the one that applies

Every host keeps their vehicle insured as the law requires, and that policy is what stands behind the trip. What it covers, what it excludes and what excess applies are terms of the host's insurance, not terms Juuh sets. If you need to know exactly what it covers, ask the host before you book.

Not included

The deposit is not cover

A deposit is a hold on your card, not an insurance product. Money leaves it only against a written reason you can read, and support decides that, not the host.

Neither the insurer nor the level of cover appears on the listing or on the booking. If it matters to you, ask the host before you book — and get the answer in the booking chat, where it is written down.
