What you need before you can book, how the deposit works, what the trip is and is not covered by, and how to bring the car back.
The security deposit — A deposit is held on the renter’s card for the trip rather than charged, and it is released after the host has had a chance to check the vehicle.
Who can rent, and what you need — You need a verified identity, a verified driving licence and a payment method in your own name before you can book, and only you may drive the car.
What is and is not covered — Juuh does not provide insurance of its own; the car is insured by its owner, as the law requires, and that policy is the one that stands behind your trip.
Fuel, mileage and bringing the car back — Mileage allowance, fuel expectations and house rules are set by the host on the listing, and it is that listing your trip is measured against.
Rules of the road, and fines — Fines dated to your trip are yours to pay, and they usually reach the vehicle’s owner by post weeks later, long after the hold on your deposit has been released.
